Tempura Batter 2
cups all-purpose flour
1 cup cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
One and one half cups cold ale or beer (1 ˝ cups)
Combine dry ingredients, then add egg and ale. Whisk batter until smooth.
Tempura Dipping Sauce
One third cup Aloha shoyu (1/3 cup)
4 Tbsp. mirin
2 Tbsp. sake
One and one third cup dashi (1 1/3 cup)
Daikon, grated
Fresh ginger, grated
Green onions, thinly sliced
Teriyaki Steak
Salt and pepper steak
Fry steak to desired doneness
Slice steak
Season with your favorite teriyaki sauce
