Asian Potstickers With A Spicy Shoyu Dipping Sauce

Potstickers:

1 cup Ground Pork
2 Tbs diced Onions
2 Tbs diced Green Onions
1/2 cup shredded Won Bok Cabbage
2 tsp Minced Garlic
1 tsp Minced Ginger
1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
1/2 tsp Oyster Sauce
Postickers Wrappers

Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of mixture in the center of the potsticker wrapper. Seal with water or an egg wash. Steam for 5 minutes or until pork is fully cooked. Brown in a saute pan for a crispy texture.

Dipping Sauce:

1/2 cup Kikkoman Shoyu
1 tsp Chile Garlic Paste
Juice from 1/2 Lemon
2 tsp White Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Sesame Oil
2 tsp Green Onions
1 tsp Mirin

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Serve with potstickers while hot.


Char Siu Marinade

Pork Butt
Hawaiian salt, salt to taste
Garlic, minced
1/4 cup Honey
1/4 cup Plum Sauce
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Hoi Sin Sauce
1/4 cup Shoyu
Chinese 5-Star Spice
Red Food Coloring-optional

Season pork with Hawaiian salt and minced garlic. Combine marinade of honey, plum sauce, brown sugar, Hoi Sin sauce and Chinese spice. Red Food coloring is optional. Marinate pork in Char Siu sauce overnight. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Enjoy!
