Gingered Lobster
1 whole lobster, cut into 6 pieces
2 Tbs salad oil
2 Tbs sliced ginger
2 Tbs minced garlic
2 Tbs shoyu
1 cup chicken stock
2 Tbs chopped green onions
1 Tbs cornstarch with 2 Tbs water
Heat oil in heavy skillet and add lobster,
ginger, garlic. Cook about 2 minutes. Add
shoyu and stock.
Cover and cook about 8 - 1 0 minutes.
Thicken with cornstarch. Toss in green
onions. Serve over rice or noodles.
Poke Pafties
Patties:
1 cup diced Ahi or Aku
1/2 cup minced onions
1/4 cup minced green onions
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
1 tsp sesame oil
2 Tbs shoyu
2 Tbs chopped ogo
1 egg
Panko
2 Tbs salad oil
Mix first 1 0 ingredients together. Form
into patties. Press the pattie in Panko
to coat both sides. Heat oil in the pan.
Place pafties in the oil and brown both
sides, keeping the middles medium rare.
Sauce:
2 Tbs butter
2 tsp shoyu
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp chopped cilantro
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
Melt the the butter in pan, add mushrooms
and cook about 2 minutes. Add shoyu,
oyster sauce, cilantro, and cook another
minute. Pour over poke pattie and enjoy.
