One of my secrets for making a thick rich stew is that I use
sweet rice flour diluted with a little water for thickening.
Bring stew to a boil, add sweet rice flour/mixture a little at
a time, simmering and stirring until you get the right
consistency. This stew is best the next day, after all the
flavors have had a chance to blend.
Make your favorite plain omelete recipe. Use 3 eggs or egg
subtitute. To serve place rice in a bowl, portion of omelet
on top, and top off with beef stew. Enjoy!
